How much power does this kit make?
Out of the box, your Scion will go from a measily 160hp to a head jerking 300hp at the crank. Your car will make more power depending on the other modifications you have already done to it. Add a boost controller and have your car re-tuned and you can easily make 350hp!
What is my warranty?
Turbonetics prides itself on its one-year warranty, which is "including products used in racing or competition applications," according to the capital letters in every item of Turbonetics literature we saw. Now that's refreshing. While most carmakers happily cancel your warranty if you so much as paint a number on your rear side window, here is a company that stands by you.
Can I install it myself?
The Turbonetics turbo kit comes with a detailed installation guide with pictures for reference. Installation can be performed with standard hand tools in about 6 to 8 hours depending on your level of competency. Follow the instructions step by step and you can save yourself hundreds of dollars on installation labor costs. There are no modifications to your chassis unlike some other kits that require you to cut life-saving pieces off of your car.
Can I run more boost on this kit?
Absolutely you can! The Turbonetics turbo kit is good up to 400hp. It is highly recommended that you upgrade your engine internals and transmission before attempting to reach those kinds of performance numbers. As always, we highly recommend you have your Scion tC re-tuned by a professional when changing the boost on your car.
